Star Phlux
Safety protocol
What PHLUX is
PHLUX is an AI guide built on your computed birth chart. It is software, not a person. It is not a therapist, a counsellor, a doctor, or a crisis service, and no one is sitting behind it waiting to answer.
An “About PHLUX” link sits in the footer of every conversation and says the same thing, so it is always one tap away while you are asking.
What happens if a question sounds like a crisis
Before PHLUX reads your chart, every question is checked against a short list of words and phrases that suggest thoughts of suicide or self-harm. If something on that list appears, PHLUX does not give an astrology answer. Instead the reply says plainly that the guide is an AI and cannot help in a crisis, and shows the resources below. The question is not counted against your free questions.
PHLUX never contacts anyone on your behalf. It does not call, message, or report to a family member, a partner, a doctor, or the authorities.
The resources it shows
- 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, in the United States. Call or text 988.
- findahelpline.com for a helpline in other countries.
- Your local emergency services, if you are in immediate danger.
What this protocol cannot do
No human being watches these conversations in real time. Conversations are read later only to check accuracy or fix a problem, so a message written at three in the morning reaches no one that night.
The check is deliberately simple, which means it can be wrong in both directions. It can miss real distress that is written gently or indirectly, and it can stop an ordinary question that happens to use one of those words. If it stops a question that was not about harming yourself, just ask again in other words.
If you are in danger right now
Please contact emergency services or one of the lines above. Your chart will be here whenever you are ready.
